Reconnect
​and Remember

The Townes-Williams Family Reunion (also referred to as the Williams-Townes Family Reunion) is a biennial gathering of the descendants and relatives of Robbie L. Williams Townes and Augustus Townes, Sr. and family friend.  It is held in a different city every two years and provides a regular opportunity for family and friends to reunite, reconnect, and remember our heritage.  The 2022 reunion is being held in the Houston, Texas area.
The Alamo
Established as the Manned Spacecraft Center (MSC) in 1961 and later renamed in honor of the late President, the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) is responsible for the design, development, and operation of human space flight. For more than four decades, JSC has been the center of human space flight operations for NASA.

Carnival Celebration

​This year's family reunion theme is "Carnival Celebration."  It's important for our family to come together periodically.  It gives us a chance to reconnect with each other and strengthen familial bonds.  It also gives us the unique opportunity to collectively remember our heritage which nourishes our souls and renews our hope for the future.

2022 Reunion Hosts

Bilal and Sonya "Pooka" Salahuddin

Bilal and Sonya "Pooka" Salahuddin are our gracious hosts for the 2022 Family Reunion.  Sonya is the eldest daughter of Hazel "Tutti" Townes-Dalton and Carroll Dalton and the granddaughter of Robbie Williams Townes and Augustus "Gus" Townes, Sr.

2022 Family Reunion

Due to lower than expected participation, the Planning Committee has decided to cancel the 2022 Townes-Williams Family Reunion.  If you have already registered and would like a refund of your reunion registration fees, please send an email to [email protected] no later than July 31, 2022.  Otherwise, we will apply your 2022 reunion registration fees to your registration for the next scheduled family reunion.
Hotel
The hotels chosen for the 2022 Reunion are the Homewood Suites by Hilton and  the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Stafford NW Sugarland.  Hotel rooms are limited.  Reserve your hotel room early to ensure the best pricing.  Details are available on the reunion registration page.

Adult registration pricing: US$50 per person
Children (12 years of age or less) pricing: US$10 per person
